You can avoid having spiders come into your business from outside by getting rid of any debris outside like lumber and cement blocks where they like to hide. Other areas that they like to hide are non-traffic areas like ductwork, open walls in storerooms, and crawl spaces so inspect these areas frequently.
Spiders like to hang out in humid and moist locations like basements and crawl spaces. Other types of spiders prefer dry and warm places. Because they like to hunt for prey spiders prefer to hide in dark areas and near cracks so that they can retreat quickly and use them to construct materials for their webs.
